A Modern Take On Luxury Living
Set behind the gates of Burnt Pine, Sandestin’s most exclusive golf course community, this once heavily traditional home underwent a sweeping transformation — blending contemporary design with timeless elegance. What was once a European - style residence has been fully reimagined into a sophisticated and glamorous retreat, perfect for entertaining and everyday living alike.
The renovation began with a bold architectural refresh. Ornate arches and columns were removed throughout the main living areas to create clean lines and open flow. The dining room ’ s soffit was replaced with a dramatic recessed feature, and all arched doorways were squared off to set the tone for a modernized interior language. Walls throughout the foyer and great room were finished in Veneti an plaster, introducing depth, texture, and soft luxury right from the entry.
In the kitchen, a reworked layout featuring Cristallo quartzite countertops, new cabinetry, and a custom panel front on the refrigerator for a seamless look. A secondary sink was upgraded for both style and functionality. The surrounding cabinetry was also updated with new hardware and layout adjustments, including a built - in desk area that feels both intentional and integrated. 
All six bathrooms were transformed with new vanities , fixtures, tile, and under - mount sinks. Walk - in showers featuring Kerdi waterproofing systems were installed along with frameless glass enclosures, and in the master, a soaking tub was set between dual vanities as a focal point of luxury. One guest bath n ow includes a white cast iron tub, while another features a barn door with sleek hardware — a modern solution with visual impact.
Shellstone flooring was carried throughout the first floor (excluding bathrooms and laundry), offering a cool, sophisticated sur face that complements the home's airy palette. Upstairs and down, all interior doors were replaced with modern hollow - core options, finished with fresh paint and new hardware for a unified look.
From structural updates to layered finishes, this Burnt Pine renovation balances glamour with comfort, transforming a once dated home into a striking example of modern resort - style living.
